As part of Whole Terrain’s 20th anniversary celebrations, we’re sharing special opportunities with members of our contributor community. Join past Whole Terrain cover artists Gregory Frux (Volume 13: Risk) and Janet Morgan (Volume 14: Celebration & Ceremony) for this extraordinary trip exploring and painting Southern Utah’s Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument from April 14-18, 2014.

Gregory and Janet are accomplished artists whose sense of adventure, both local and exotic, inform and enrich their work. Together they have taken their unique painting styles to an atlas full of remote locations (Morocco, Peru, Bolivia, Patagonia, Antarctica, Arctic Norway, Central Asia and throughout North America) and as Artists-in-Residence in Death Valley National Park, Weir Farm National Historic Site, Joshua Tree National Park and Glacier National Park. The artists have been to this region of Southern Utah to paint and explore five previous times.
